The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday conducted a raid at the residence of a suspect in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, as part of its ongoing investigation into the terror ecosystem in the Kashmir Valley, officials said.
According to sources, the search operation was carried out in the early hours at a residential house in the Hazari Bazar locality of the Rainawari area. Security personnel were deployed in the vicinity to maintain law and order during the operation.
The raid is linked to a broader probe by the NIA aimed at dismantling terror networks, their support systems, and financing channels operating in the region. Officials stated that such searches are part of routine investigative procedures to gather evidence and identify individuals connected to terror-related activities.
No further details regarding seizures or detentions were immediately disclosed.
