Due to heavy rainfall, a portion of the Dudhia Iron Bridge in Darjeeling

Due to heavy rainfall, a portion of the Dudhia Iron Bridge in Darjeeling, West Bengal, suddenly collapsed. The incident created panic in the area and completely disrupted traffic across North Bengal. Local administration and disaster management teams reached the spot, halting movement on both sides of the bridge. Relief and repair work is currently underway to restore normalcy.
